On September 21–25, 2015, lecturers from UAB “IT akademija” conducted training sessions in design, computer graphics, and layout for staff of Klaipėda City Municipality Public Library under the project “Family History – Preserve the Memory.”
The aim of the project is to bring together families of Klaipėda City for documenting their family history through joint creative activities using information and communication technologies, thereby encouraging them to spend more time together. During the project, technological and professional training sessions are organized for library specialists. The improved specialists will prepare new topics and train residents in layout and design, creation of a digital family archive, genealogy, and drawing genealogical trees.
