ABOUT THE SEMINAR

The course is designed for those who use “MS Excel” in their daily work and wish to deepen their existing skills. Special emphasis is placed on working with large data sets and mastering the program’s features that simplify data entry, processing, and searching within large volumes of information.

  • Keyboard shortcuts and key combinations to speed up work.
  • Working with multiple workbooks.
  • Advanced paste options. Formats and copying formats.
  • Advanced sorting and filtering.
    • Advanced sorting by multiple criteria, including custom sorting orders (not only ascending or descending).
    • Advanced filtering.
  • Complex formulas. Relative and absolute references.
  • Finding and correcting formula errors. Formula auditing.
  • Most commonly used functions:
    • Logical (IF, CountIF, SumIF, AverageIF, SumIFS, CountIFS, IFERROR, AND, OR);
    • Text (Concatenate, Left, Right, Mid, Find, Search, Trim, Text, Value, Lower, Upper, Substitute);
    • Date and Time (Now, Today, Networkdays, Year, Month, Day, Weekday, Weeknum, Hour, Minute, Second);
    • Lookup and Reference (Address, Index, Indirect, Column, Row, Match, Lookup, Vlookup);
    • Other (Round, Rounddown, Roundup, Isna, Product, Sumproduct).

Lector Vilma Eidukynaitė is a certified Microsoft trainer and holds a Master’s degree in Software Systems Engineering. She has more than 17 years of experience delivering both closed and open IT-related seminars and participates in EU-funded projects aimed at improving the qualifications of employees in business enterprises and public sector institutions.
