ABOUT THE SEMINAR

The training is intended for participants who already have basic skills in working with Microsoft PowerPoint and wish to deepen their knowledge. The aim of the course is to introduce the capabilities of MS PowerPoint that enable the creation of modern presentations, demonstrate engaging information layout and design solutions, present the creation and benefits of infographics, and teach how to create infographics and presentations using visual tools.

We will introduce the new “Interactive Preview” feature available in MS PowerPoint 2019 or MS Office 365, which allows the creation of highly attractive presentations and slide transitions using transformation effects.

The training is focused on technical creation tools.

SEMINAR PROGRAM
  • Analysis of the most common mistakes and tips on how to create a persuasive and engaging presentation.
  • General guidelines for preparing presentations.
  • Creating interactive presentations from scratch and adapting them.
  • Template creation. Standard templates. Creating an original template:
    • Slide masters and layouts.
    • Design. Color schemes. Variants. XML and THMX files.
  • Structuring information in slides:
    • Text, graphic elements, charts, diagrams.
    • Typography. Fonts, their installation, and compatibility.
    • Shapes and their formatting options for creating modern-looking presentations.
    • Advantages of vector files.
  • Tables:
    • 3 different ways to create tables.
    • Copying tables from Microsoft Excel.
    • Custom-designed tables.
  • Using animation to create impressive presentations:
    • Object animation. Slide transition effects.
    • Transformation (Morph) slide transition effect (in version 2019 or “MS Office 365”).
  • New feature (in version 2019 or “MS Office 365”) – interactive preview (Zoom).
  • Audio and video files in presentations. Common issues and solutions:
    • Applying special effects. Playing a video within a shape.
  • Navigation between slides.
  • Using infographics in presentations:
    • Creating infographics using Microsoft PowerPoint.
    • Using free online tools “Canva”, “Piktochart”, and “Infogram”.
  • Merging and comparing presentations.
  • Slide show features. Preparing outputs.
