SECTION I. DEFINITIONS

2. www.itakademija.lt – the website located at www.itakademija.lt.
3. Browser – a program designed to display internet pages (websites) on the internet or on a personal computer.
4. Personal data – any information relating to a natural person – the data subject – whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly identified using such data as a personal identification number or one or more characteristics specific to the person’s physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity.
5. Privacy Policy and Cookie Usage Rules (hereinafter – the Privacy Policy) – this document setting out the main rules for the collection, storage, processing, and retention of personal data when using www.itakademija.lt.
6. IP address – a unique number assigned to each computer connected to the internet, known as the Internet Protocol (IP) address, which can be used to identify a person.
7. Cookies – data analysis management tools.

8. The Company’s Privacy Policy sets out the main rules for collecting, storing, and processing personal data when the User uses the website www.itakademija.lt.
9. The Privacy Policy has been prepared considering that cookies are used on the website www.itakademija.lt.
10. On www.itakademija.lt it is possible to submit an inquiry via the contact form. The website also provides information about the Company’s activities related to IT training and consulting, employee qualification testing, partnership in preparing and implementing EU structural support projects, ECDL and CERTIPORT testing, and other services.
11. The Privacy Policy is intended to protect and defend the personal data of Users of www.itakademija.lt from unlawful use.
12. The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to regulate the processing of Users’ personal data on the Company’s website www.itakademija.lt, ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other related legal acts.
SECTION III. PROCEDURE FOR STORAGE AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
13. Data received by the Company when a data subject submits an inquiry via the contact form or by email at info@itakademija.lt:
13.1. User’s name;
13.2. email address;
13.3. subject of the electronic message;
13.4. content (text) of the electronic message.
14. The above data are stored for no longer than 12 months from the date of submission via the electronic inquiry form.
15. The Company undertakes not to disclose the User’s personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:
15.1. if the User has given consent for the disclosure of personal data;
15.2. if the Company’s partners related to the services ordered by the User require the information for proper service provision;
15.3. the Company may also transfer the User’s personal data to third parties acting as data processors on behalf of the Company, provided that appropriate agreements are in place ensuring adequate protection of the transferred data;
15.4. in all other cases, personal data may be disclosed only in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Personal data may be transferred to governmental or law enforcement authorities upon request.
16. Although the Company takes all reasonable measures to protect personal data, it cannot guarantee secure data transmission to the website. Any transmission is carried out at the User’s own risk. Upon receipt of data, the Company applies strict procedures and technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access.
17. The Company uses personal data in order to:

19. The information specified in clauses 18.1–18.8 is used to improve the website, analyze trends, enhance products and services, and administer the website. The User voluntarily provides this data by using the Company’s services or visiting the website.
SECTION IV. COOKIES AND THEIR USE
20. The Company uses cookies on www.itakademija.lt as data analysis tools in order to identify individuals, ensure full functionality, improve user experience, and enhance the website.
21. Cookies are small data files placed on a data subject’s computer. They allow the website to recognize the browser and remember preferences such as language settings. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses. They are assigned only to the data subject and can be read only by the domain that issued them.

27.2. to access their personal data and information about how it is processed;
27.3. to request correction or deletion of their personal data;
27.4. to object to the processing of personal data;
27.5. to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, www.vdai.lrv.lt).
28. The User, by submitting a written request and proof of identity, has the right to access personal data processed on www.itakademija.lt and receive information about data sources, purposes of processing, and recipients. The Company shall respond within 30 calendar days from receipt of the request.
29. Requests regarding access, correction, or deletion of personal data may be submitted:

29.2. by registered mail – Kęstučio g. 59-53, LT-44303 Kaunas.
SECTION VI. FINAL PROVISIONS
30. The Privacy Policy is available at www.itakademija.lt and may be printed at any time. Users will be informed of any updates by publication of a new version on the website.
31. The Company is not responsible for connection disruptions preventing access to the website or services.
32. The Company cannot fully guarantee uninterrupted and error-free functioning of the website or protection from viruses. Any material downloaded is at the User’s own risk.
