ABOUT THE SEMINAR

The course is designed for those who want to learn how to quickly and professionally create interactive and engaging “Microsoft PowerPoint” presentations that match the style of the presentation, as well as select appropriate slide design and colors. Special attention is given to the composition of text and graphic material, and object formatting.

Presentation delivery methods and controls are examined. During the course, the most common information presentation mistakes are analyzed.

  • Analysis of the most common mistakes and tips on how to create a persuasive and engaging presentation.
  • General presentation preparation principles, design templates. Standard templates. Creating, saving, and using a custom template.
  • Text and graphics. Composition of text and graphics. Use of SmartArt graphic elements.
  • Animation.
  • Use of video. Audio. Application of special effects. Playing a video within a shape. Adding text placeholders. Adjusting video start and end, using bookmarks. Compressing videos.
  • Merging and comparing presentations.
  • Presentation delivery and output preparation. Preparing for a slideshow. Delivering and broadcasting a presentation. Printing.
  • File preparation, saving in various formats. Converting a presentation into a video.

Lector Vilma Eidukynaitė is a certified Microsoft trainer and holds a Master’s degree in Software Systems Engineering. She has more than 17 years of experience delivering both closed and open IT-related seminars and participates in EU-funded projects aimed at improving the qualifications of employees in business enterprises and public sector institutions.
