UAB “IT akademija”, contributing to strengthening youth cybersecurity, is launching a new project as a partner together with VšĮ “Inovacijų tinklas” entitled “Development of New Cybersecurity Educational Content for Non-Formal Education by VšĮ ‘Inovacijų tinklas’” (Project Code No. CYBER-K01-072), funded under the 2021–2027 Digital Europe Programme and co-financed by the Republic of Lithuania.
The objective of the project is to develop modern, interactive cybersecurity training content and integrate it into the youth entrepreneurship promotion platform “ENT_YOUTH”. This will help platform users use the internet safely and responsibly, protect their data, and respond appropriately to potential threats.
Main project activities and results:
• Development and digitalization of cybersecurity training content intended for school pupils and university students;
• Development of computer game-based training with gamification elements: point scoring, rewards, and feedback-based tests.
The cybersecurity training content developed within the project will cover two main directions: training for pupils and for students. At the basic level, pupils will be introduced to the importance of passwords, online dangers, personal data protection, safe use of social networks, and prevention of cyberbullying. Students will be provided with advanced topics, including data theft, identity theft risks, principles of cyber hygiene, and safe network access practices.
Project implementation period: February – September 2025.
Total project value – EUR 59,317.00, of which:
• up to EUR 29,658.50 from the 2021–2027 EU Digital Europe Programme funds;
• up to EUR 29,658.50 from the national co-financing funds of the Republic of Lithuania.
The project promoter VšĮ “Inovacijų tinklas” is allocated EUR 57,077.00.
The partner UAB “IT akademija” – EUR 2,240.00.
This project is another step towards a safer, more informed, and responsible young generation.
